People adopt pets for any number of reasons both good and bad, but there’s one strange reason that may be a manifestation of our subconscious desire to be surrounded by familiar faces.
This reason gave rise to the theory that people resemble their pets, because some people may be adopting certain breeds simply because they look comfortingly familiar , somehow reminding them of themselves.
This theory is almost always applied to dog owners, because dogs are man’s best friend and therefore more likely to share similarities with humans both in looks and personality.

Sometimes it's the mane, other times it's the posture and attitude, but the similarities are definitely there, whether the owners want to admit it or not!
